Candace Kearns Read, MFA is a trained college essay workshop leader with decades of experience as a university writing professor, workshop leader, and writing consultant. Her College Essay Workshop is designed using The College Essay GuyTM courses and curriculum.

Screenplay – The Draft Class

During this intermediate level class, you will work toward a first draft of a feature length screenplay – the true test of a writer who wants to create for film or television. Develop and explore the essentials of a well-executed screenplay: a 90-120 page draft, the principals of story (character, plot and tone), engagement and a working knowledge of how to execute the visual narrative form. 8 student minimum, 12 maximum.

7 sessions • $315 • 3 hr class time

Summer Session: Thursdays June 3 – July 22  with NO CLASS week of July 1.
